AFRL Turbomachinery Branch leases ADS version 6.8

Danville,  Calif. - July 17th, 2017

AeroDynamic Solutions, Inc (ADS CFD) announced today the lease of ADS CFD's turbomachinery software to the United States Air Force Research Laboratory Turbomachinery Branch for the analysis of compressor and turbine configurations.

Dr. John Clark of the AFRL Turbomachinery Branch talks about use of ADS CFD's software in his group:

"The Turbines group in the Turbomachinery Branch, Turbine Engine Division, AFRL now uses ADS Code LEO exclusively for design evaluation and experimental verification. Code Leo's unsteady capabilities have proven to be unique in the industry in terms of speed and usability. For example, this had led to the first optimization of a turbine component based on 3D unsteady analysis"

Dr. Ron Ho Ni of ADS CFD responded:

"We are grateful and excited to continue working with the AFRL Turbomachinery Branch in the development of leading-edge turbomachinery design and analysis software."
