Steven Allmaras joins ADS as VP CFD
Noted CFD developer and turbulence model author brings 20+ years of aerospace expertise to company
PLEASANTON, Calif. - June 1, 2011 - AeroDynamic Solutions, Inc. (ADS) today announced that Steven Allmaras has joined the company as Vice President, CFD.

Reporting to ADS Chairman and CTO Ron-Ho (Bob) Ni, Dr. Allmaras will be responsible for CFD methods development and leading select client engagements. Prior to joining ADS, Steve spent 22 years at the Boeing Company, where he was a key member of their CFD methods group and responsible for a number of innovations, including the well-known Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model. Dr. Allmaras earned his PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics and Masters in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, as well as a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington.
