ADS to Present at TETS 2010

Bob Ni to discuss conjugate heat transfer as part of workshop on "Advances in Physics-Based Design Systems"

PLEASANTON, Calif. - August, 23, 2010 - AeroDynamic Solutions, Inc. (ADS) today announced its planned participation in the Turbine Engine Technology Symposium (TETS) scheduled for September 13-16, 2010 in Dayton, Ohio.

As part of the "Advances in Physics-Based Design Systems" workshop chaired by Dr. John Clark of the Air Force Research Laboratory, ADS Chairman and CTO Bob Ni will discuss the conjugate heat transfer analysis capabilities it has developed under an SBIR Phase II grant from the U.S. Air Force.  Dr. Ni's session is scheduled for Thursday, September 16th from 11:30am to 12:00pm.

To enable gas turbine designers to better anticipate and counteract aero and thermal loading effects in high performance gas turbine designs, ADS has developed advanced conjugate heat transfer and full wheel unsteady simulation capabilities for its aerospace-class flow solver, Code Leo, and turbomachinery-optimized mesh generator, Code Wand.   With a year of development and initial testing complete, the company is now working closely with a select set of commercial design partners to exercise and evaluate its capabilities in one or both areas.
