Latest release delivers 20% improvement in solver performance with unstructured mesh, enhanced wind turbine support and productivity features
PLEASANTON, Calif. - January 25, 2010 - AeroDynamic Solutions, Inc. (ADS) today announced the availability of ADS 2.0, an update to its turbomachinery CFD solution suite.
In addition to bug fixes and license management enhancements, ADS 2.0 features several new capabilities, including:
- Improved solver performance. Code Leo performance with unstructured TETS-type meshes has been improved by 20%.
- Enhanced wind turbine design support. ADS 2.0 now provides mesh and solver support for counter-rotating props and shroudless wind turbines.
- User productivity enhancements. The ADS Workbench includes 2D plotting enhancements and the ability to extend completed runs.
